If you see a charge from Fraîche on your credit card and don’t immediately recognize it, don’t worry — here’s how it works:
💳 When We Charge Your Card
Fraîche only charges your card on file when your wallet balance reaches or goes beyond -$5.
This charge is not per transaction — it’s a cumulative charge that covers multiple out-of-pocket purchases that weren’t fully paid with credits or rewards.
🧾 Why It Might Feel Unexpected
-
Your company may cover a portion of each meal (if you have a food program), so your out-of-pocket cost per day can be minimal — often under $1.
-
These small amounts build up over time, and once your wallet balance reaches - $5 or more, we automatically charge your card to bring it back to a positive balance.
-
The charge might look like a lump sum, but it’s actually the total from several small purchases.
🔍 Where to Check Details
